Join Us for the Next Leadership Forum:  Time Tactician

Where does your time go? Are you a list-maker with an overflowing inbox? An in-demand team player pulled into every meeting with little time to do your own work? Or a rockstar implementer aiming for the next step?

Time is the one resource we can’t create… or can we?

In the Time Tactician workshop, you’ll discover simple but powerful tools to make time work for you instead of the other way around. You’ll walk away with:

  • A new perspective on time. Use Grace, Pace, and Space (GPS) to shift from “always busy” toward intentional choices about energy and focus.

  • A clear system for sorting what matters. Apply the Eisenhower Matrix to separate urgent from important, eliminate distractions, and make better decisions about where to spend your effort.

You’ll leave with practical strategies and a personal action plan you can start using immediately to create more focus, breathing room, and impact in your week.

Join Us for the Next Leadership Forum: Orchestrating Success: Project Leadership

If you’ve ever watched a symphony perform, you know the conductor doesn’t play every instrument, yet every note depends on their guidance. That’s what project leaders do — we bring together the strings, brass, percussion, and woodwinds of our teams: the planners, the doers, the innovators, and the problem-solvers.

And just like in music, when each part plays in sync, we create something greater than the sum of its parts — a masterpiece of project outcomes.

About this Session
Designed for women leaders committed to excellence, this interactive session offers practical strategies to lead projects and teams with clarity and confidence. You will learn how to navigate project phases, clearly define roles and expectations, and utilize a responsibility tool to foster team alignment and accountability.

At the end of this session, you will be able to:

  1. Effectively guide projects through key phases to maintain momentum and focus.

  2. Clearly define and communicate project roles to ensure accountability and collaboration.

  3. Apply a responsibility tool essential for workload and decision-making.

Come prepared to be fully engaged. Use this opportunity to be the conductor of your project teams and direct reports.  Enhance your leadership impact and orchestrate success!

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER

Connie Plowman,

Connie Plowman is a lifelong conductor of success – as an education, corporate, and volunteer leader.

She has served as Interim Executive Director of the CLIMB Center at Portland Community College, and today teaches (part-time) project management and general business courses in higher education — all while trying (unsuccessfully) to retire.

As a former COO for Cadence Management Corporation, Connie is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach.  She mentors and coaches aspiring project managers and direct reports, helping them find their own rhythm for success.

As leaders, we must never set down the baton — the music of leadership is ours to keep alive.

WtoWN Virtual Series | Understanding Differences

Returning Guests: $35

We all work with people whose personalities or approaches drive us a little crazy, and after years of hybrid and remote work, many teams are now relearning how to collaborate face-to-face. This session helps leaders and team members alike to understand, leverage, and appreciate different workstyles and tendencies within their team (including introversion, generational differences, and more).

Participants will explore how to bring out the best in others, recognize potential bias when assessing talent, and learn strategies for handling those irritating differences. The result? Teams that function with more trust and greater productivity.

Key Takeaways:

- Specific ways to bring out everyone's best in a group, and individually

- Do's and Don'ts when assessing talent

- What to do if someone "bugs" you at work, even if it's your boss!
