Both Sarah Holtz & Kati Foster were born and raised in Tigard, crossing paths at varying points in life and circles have collided many times, without knowing until later on in life. In the past few years of reconnecting, they collaborate, support one another and help keep one another sane in the world of entrepreneurship. They will have an open discussion of how a woman in business can effectively support and creatively collaborate with other woman-owned businesses.
Sarah Holtz established Sweet Simplicity this last month, September 2026, which became a branch of Simplicity with Sarah Holtz. Being gluten-free for over 12 years, she realized that with the increasing popularity of dipped treats, there was not the option of gluten-free available. A desire to not only have gluten-free treats that are the offering, not the alternative, as well as having the treats visually reflect the thoughtfulness to detail and time put into making them.
Kati Foster began NW Accent, out of her garage, while the world was stuck in their homes during 2020, just recently celebrating 6 years in business. She is a self-taught and skill-researched solopreneur, that assists in designing and bringing visions to life for business and personal custom orders of high-quality apparel. In addition to screenprinting, the front part of her shop is a Pacific Northwest themed boutique, filled with around 90% of products from woman-owned businesses.
In joining Sarah & Kati for the evening, all TWC attendees and guests will receive 10% off any purchases made in the shop, that evening only, as well as a complimentary sweet treat and a special offer for holiday treat pre-orders. There will also be a special gift, for evening attendees only, for Sarah & Kati’s Stocking Stuffer event, December 19th & 20th..
